Munnar-Alleppey-Varkala Tour Package 5 Nights/6 Days

Day 01: Munnar

Pickup from Cochin Airport / Railway Station. Drive to Munnar. On the route visit one of the most enchanting Waterfalls in Kerala-Cheeyappara Waterfalls on the Kochi-Madhurai Highway (NH 49). After reaching Munnar have a freshup and then let’s go to Blossom Hydel Park-just 3 kms away from Munnar Town.Best place for nature lovers- a colorful park with rich beautiful flowers and greenery. It offers adventure trails, boating, nature walks, bird watching with facilities for cycling, roller skating, badminton as well.

Return back to the hotel / resort.

Day 02: Munnar

After breakfast have a ride to Eravikulam National Park (Rajamalai) – a magnificent view of rare species of Nilgiri Tahr, or visit Rajamala Wildlife Sanctuary which is also a part of Eravikulam National Park. After Lunch, proceed to Mattupetty Dam, Kunadala Lake and Eco Point,to have a beautiful view of Munnar and experience it with boating. Evening visit to the Lakkam Waterfalls, one of the most preferred destinations chosen by the tourists.

Day 03: Alleppey

After breakfast, move to Alleppey. As we reach the Alleppey Finishing point, checkin to the houseboat. Have the welcome drink. Enjoy the whole houseboat ride with the beauty of Alleppey Backwaters. Tasty Kerala style food for the lunch with Karimeen Fry is one of the main attractions. Usually the time limit is 4 to 5 hrs. The trip goes through Punnamada River also known as the Snake Boat,(famous for Nehru Trophy Boat Race), then entering to the enchanting Vembanad Lake and passes through small villages . During the trip the cruise offers visit to some places like Champakulam Church, 200 years old one, then a small walk through the villages nearby and have a look to the life of the local people there, the beautiful paddy fields, etc.…By evening the tea and snacks are served to the guests and finally the Kerala style dinner at night. Overnight stay at the houseboat. Relax and have a peaceful night in the houseboat.

Day 04: Varkala

Morning after breakfast by morning 9 am the trip comes to an end and it’s time to check out from the houseboat and move to Varkala and visit Kapil Lake – a beautiful scenic picture perfect place with a mixture of land and water. Boating-the main activity here which attracts tourists a lot, enjoying the beauty of the lake while boating is really an exquisite visual. At the meeting point of Arabian Sea and Kappil Lake, there is also Kappil Beach to explore. It’s like a beach backwater mixed-up destination. After spending some time in the beach and having the lunch it’s time to move to Visit Varkala Beach (Papasnanam Beach), a must to see place. It’s believed that taking a bath here will wash away and destroys all your sins. It’s a calm and quiet hamlet of Varkala, an ideal holiday destination to explore at the maximum. Activities waiting for you-Sunbathing, Wind Surfing, Parasailing and soaking in the beauty of the beach with extremely wonderful sightseeing. Next Visit Anjengo Fort / Lighthouse, 10-12 kms from Varkala built by the British a century ago. The sight here takes you to the ancient british period and you can experience the same.

Back to Resort / Hotel. Relax.

Day 05: Varkala

After breakfast drive towards visit the famous SreeJanardhana Swami Temple, a form of Lord Vishnu, 2000 years old-also known as Dakshin Kaashi (Benaras of the South). Sivagiri Mutt is the next place to visit, the Mutt of Sri Narayana Guru where he lived and had Samadhi is a must place to visit. After having the lunch it’s time to deviate ourselves to a vacation mood. After having lunch visit Edava Beach-located in the small Edava village. The beauty of sea and the backwaters is the main attraction here. Enjoy the beauty of the blue lagoon where the sea and the backwater run parallel seperated by a more-than-one km of straight road.

Day 06: Varkala / Trivandrum

After breakfast drop to Trivandrum Airport / Railway Station.
